ER70S-6 Carbon Steel MIG Welding Wire
Used for a wide variety of applications such as construction work, tanks, sheet metal, pipes, farm implements, truck bodies and general shop applications with poor fit-up, ER70S-6 MIG Wire is a mild steel welding wire that contains higher levels of manganese and silicon than other standard grades of welding wire, allowing it to produce high quality welds when used on dirty, oily, or rusty steel.
ER70S-6 has the highest welded tensile strength of all the carbon steel welding wires and has been designed to provide X-Ray quality, porosity-free welds. The high silicon content increases the fluidity of the weld pool, creating a smoother bead appearance, resulting in minimal post-weld grinding.
