EWP Pure Tungsten TIG Welding Rods

Known for its ability to form an excellent clean, balled end, EWP is a PURE unalloyed Tungsten TIG Rod (99.5% tungsten minimum) that is perfect for welding Aluminum or Magnesium metals.

EWP provides good stability when used with AC, either balanced wave or continuously high frequency stabilized, and it can be used with DC with either Argon or Helium (or a combination of both) as a shielding gas.

Non-radioactive, its current-carrying capacity is lower than that of other tungsten TIG rods as is its cost. These lower cost TIG rods are generally used for less critical applications where some tungsten contamination of welds is acceptable.
